The Winser review is an independent review by the UK's Electricity Networks Commissioner, Nick Winser, looking at ways to reduce the time it takes to build grid infrastructure and connections.
Today, 4 August, the review and its recommendations were published, including important additional roles the Future System Operator could take on over time.
