Local Constraints Market futures and fairer access consultation webinar

Please join us for a webinar to discuss the the Local Constraints Market (LCM) futures and fairer access consultation process. The futures and fairer access consultation forms part of a wider and deeper dialogue with the market about the present and future value and future of the LCM service. This consultation will focus on some of the challenges of LCM: delivering value for bill payers; wider access and competition with existing local constraint measures (e.g. Balancing Mechanism); asset level metering; wind subsidies; as well as listening to any further barriers that LCM providers are facing or opportunities that you feel could increase the volumes you can offer to help National Control with local constraints via the LCM.

We will be encouraging stakeholders to channel your ABSVD-specific feedback through the formal C16 consultation route. We will be discussing this during the webinar but please note the C16 feedback channel is open from Tuesday 16 January 2024 at 10:00 and all C16 consultations can be accessed separately on the C16 page of our website.
